Refurbishment

Exotic Electro-Optics, Inc. (EEO) established the Repair and Refurbishment Department to provide product service to government agencies and their prime contractors. Field damaged components and assemblies can be repaired or remanufactured to meet all original equipment specifications. With EEO's vast experience and knowledge in refurbishing optical components coated with thorium floride, the issue of safely handling this radio-active material has been solved.

Significant cost savings can be attained by repairing or re-manufacturing infrared windows and domes for infrared imaging and guidance systems which are subject to particularly severe environments such as rain erosion, salt water submersion, sand and mud abrasion, and debris from helicopter prop wash.

This capability provides a cost-effective benefit by returning damaged products to an operational condition.
