Exotic Electro-Optics, Inc. (EEO) is an innovator and industry leader in infrared optical crystal growth and the foremost manufacturer of germanium crystals for military infrared optics.

Germanium optical crystals are grown in excess of 18 inches in diameter. Single and polycrystaline materials are available. Germanium crystals with low resistivity of 1 to 10 ohms-centimeters are available for higher operating temperature applications. Crystals are also grown with resistivities ranging from 5-40 ohms-centimeter. Special germanium crystals are available for heated window applications.

Crystals are grown to the required shape for domes, cylinders, and irregular windows to minimize fabrication costs.
