Job Description:
Provides leadership and implements the basic business, systems and technical responsibilities of the department. Participates in all major quality-related decisions in all phases of business activity. Maintains vigilance in such areas as potential liability of products, export control, the reliability and safety of all products, and the minimization of hazards and recalls. Responsible for departmental budget the collection, calculation, and analysis of quality costs. Oversees the operations and applications of the engineering and statistical technologies of quality. Maintains audit controls. Resolves customer issues and provides technical support for sales. 

Experience Required:
11 years of experience in one or more branches of Quality Assurance including optical quality inspection, testing, and process improvement. At least 5 years of direct supervisory experience. Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001. 

Education Required:
BS in business, management, quality technology, engineering, mathematics, the basic sciences or related fields.
