Job Description:
Strong skills in the basic principals of optical fabrication, assembly and test. 
Responsible for process documentation, development, control, and estimating. Process documentation includes WOR’s, BOM’s, and RCN, ECO, and NOR change order documentation. Maintaining and updating SMP’s, Ispecs, manufacturing drawings and special processes. Leads development and implementation of new processes, tooling, and test fixtures related primarily to the growth, polishing, shaping, and assembly of optics and optical systems. Evaluate technical requirements and prepare cost estimates.

Experience Required:
10 years minimum, manufacturing engineering experience servicing aerospace/defense customers. Experience with optical fabrication preferred.

Education Required:
BS in engineering or related discipline, preferably in industrial or mechanical engineering OR equivalent experience (minimum 15 years) working as a manufacturing engineer in an optics fabrication environment.
