Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer Manager is responsible for the following functional groups:

Manufacturing Engineers/Process Engineers – this group is responsible for processes, work instructions, and technical aspects related to quotes.

Tooling – this group consists of Manufacturing Engineers who are responsible for design, validation, and fabrication.

Central Planning – this group of Manufacturing Engineers who are responsible for planning and launching new jobs.

Machine Shop – this group includes machine shop supervisor and machinists. 

The Manufacturing Engineer Manager responsible for ensuring that a steady work pace is performed as well as ensuring accuracy and quality of products. 

Experience Required:
At least 10 years experience in a technical environment with a minimum of 5 years working in optics manufacturing, preferably with a minimum of 2 years as a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.

Education Required:
Minimum BS in Engineering or Sciences, optical manufacturing preferred.
